From today, you can be kept up to date on the latest myMACEF news in real time thanks to RSS (Really Simple Syndication). RSS is a web feed format (based on XML) used to distribute updated content, which lets you receive the latest news published by myFestivity on your computer at any time, The service is free and you do not need to register. A myFESTIVITY RSS feed includes the title, a summary and the web site address of all articles published on the Homepage and in the various sections of the site. In this way you can always keep up to date on the information that interests you most. The myFESTIVITY RSS feeds To use a feed, right-click on the RSS tab, select “copy link” and paste the feed link into your chosen aggregator. |
How it works
To access the service you just need an Internet connection and an aggregator to receive RSS channels. A number of aggregators can easily and safely be downloaded from the Internet either free of charge or on payment. We have indicated some of the most commonly used one below. Choose that one that best suits your computer, your operating system and in come cases, your browser.
How to download and install RSS readers Below we give instructions to download and install FeedRead (Windows users). For the others, the method is more or less the same. Click on the top right tab "download the latest version" Click on "download FeedReader----Setup.exe" in the most recent version that you will find at the top of the list. Click on one of the locations suggested for the setup, download it and save it on your Desktop. When downloading is complete, double click on the setup icon. Read and decide whether or not to accept the product terms of use as well as the pre-set values then complete installation. In case of doubts or difficulties consult your service provider or a more experienced person. How to subscribe to the myFESTIVITY RSS feeds Right click on the orange tab for the update you want to receive and select “copy link”. Click on "new feed" and enter the feed link you have just copied. Click on "next" and then "finish" Suggested personalization Choose “properties” from the “tools” menu and select "open new link browser window" Click OK Choose “properties” from the “tools” menu and select "run program on startup" and click OK – in this way the programme will start automatically every time Windows is started. |
